Project Manager – AI & Productivity Solutions (Copilot/M365) | Contract

Overview

A leading financial institution is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead enterprise-wide AI and workplace productivity transformation initiatives. This role will be responsible for driving the implementation, adoption, and governance of AI-powered productivity solutions, with a focus on Microsoft Copilot and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.

The successful candidate will partner with business, technology, security, compliance, and change management teams to deliver strategic transformation programmes that enhance employee productivity, operational efficiency, and digital adoption across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Programme Management

• Lead end-to-end delivery of AI and workplace productivity transformation initiatives from planning through implementation and adoption.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, dependencies, risks, and governance frameworks.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior stakeholders and steering committees.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.

AI & Productivity Transformation

• Drive Microsoft Copilot deployment initiatives, including rollout planning, governance, adoption strategies, and benefits realisation.
• Collaborate with business units to identify AI use cases and productivity improvement opportunities.
• Support the development of operating models, governance frameworks, and best practices for Generative AI adoption.
• Promote responsible AI usage in alignment with security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

Stakeholder & Change Management

• Engage senior stakeholders across business, technology, risk, compliance, and operations teams.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, external vendors, and implementation partners to ensure successful project delivery.
• Drive user adoption, communication, training, and change management initiatives to maximise business value.
• Facilitate workshops, steering committees, and stakeholder forums to align priorities and manage expectations.

Risk, Governance & Compliance

• Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and escalation processes.
• Ensure compliance with internal governance, regulatory, security, and data protection requirements.
• Work closely with technology and security teams to support AI governance and control frameworks.

Requirements

• Degree in Business, Information Technology, or any related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of Project Management experience within Banking, Financial Services, or highly regulated environments.
• Proven experience leading Microsoft Copilot implementation, adoption, governance, or workplace productivity transformation programmes.
• Solid understanding of Generative AI technologies and enterprise AI adoption frameworks.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 technologies, including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook, and Copilot capabilities.
• Experience managing project governance, budgeting, risk management, vendor management, and stakeholder reporting.
• Familiarity with security, compliance, data governance, and regulatory considerations relating to AI solutions.
• Experience managing large-scale enterprise transformation or digital workplace initiatives.
